Permanent Makeup & SMP tattooing is a PROCESS but have faith!

You will receive an Aftercare Kit with everything you need to take care of your brows while healing. You will cleanse & moisturize your brows for 10 days, following the instructions provided during your appointment.

PERMANENT MAKEUP, AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Roughly 10-14 days front beginning to end – depending on your individual skin.

*Wash morning and night until your start to scab with gentle cleanser and no scrubbing!

Wash within 4 hours of getting PMU Nano Eyebrows & SMP done. Make sure to wash them OUTSIDE shower. Look in the mirror while washing so you can make sure to be EXTRA gentle.

Only wipe gently in the direction of hair growth, no circles or hard rubbing. Wash will warm or cool water, and pat dry with clean paper towel or cotton pads.

  • *Keep dry (besides washing) until they start to scab. The scabbing stage starts around day 4-7 (Also called the ugly stage and can appear dark, patchy or start to “ghost” out).
  • Once they start to scab you will ditch the cleanser and start using the aftercare ointment supplied. Applying anytime you feel itchy or super dry.
  • Apply the lightest amount of after care and apply with care as many times as needed without keeping them saturated with ointment.
  • Clients still need to keep worked on area dry in the shower… steamy hot showers will cause the pores to open and scabs soften, Scabs help keep the pigment in the skin, so to be cautious. No extra steamy hot showers!! Avoid shampoo and conditioner running down.
  • No excessive sweating. (until completely healed) If you are hot, the pigments WILL leave your skin. Leaving you with no retention.
  • No sauna, hot tub, pool, ocean, etc.
  • *Do not pick, rub, or scratch scabs! Avoid sleeping on face.
  • *Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks so your skin doesn’t flush and get hot.

*No anti aging or acne products on them ever!! This will cause fading very quickly. This is anything with chemical exfoliant such as Retinol, Glycolic Acid, Salisylic Acid, etc

PMU Healing Expectations:

Day 1: Your brows are beautiful, but vivid and bold! They will soften 30-40% and shrink just slightly! The color may appear “warmer” due to skin irritation & redness. You can expect minimal swelling, depending on how sensitive your skin is.

Day 2-4: Your brows are much darker than Day 1! This is normal, don’t fret! The pigment has oxidized, & settled in. The color will appear more “cool.”

Day 4-10: You notice some flaking, but this is just your skin treating the area as a wound & healing itself. Do not pick at these flakes or you will cause loss of pigment and scar tissue. Let the brows flake on their own.

Day 10-28: Now the brows have become much lighter, after flaking away. This is known as the “ghosting” phase. Your skin will initially heal over the design. The pigment is there, it’s just underneath an extra layer of skin.

Week 4-6: This is when you will begin to notice the true results. The pigment begins to become more noticeable again.

Week 8: You are completely healed!

Here are some examples that will cause your brows or SMP to soften sooner:
  • oily skin
  • tanning or sunbathing
  • swimming in chlorine
  • anti-aging products
  • acne treatments
  • chemical peel treatments
  • microdermabrasion
  • autoimmune disease
  • hormonal imbalances

Hair loss – Medical Aesthetics Treatments:

How it works:

During microneedling, Fresh Envy Aesthetics, uses a hand held device with an attachment of micro needles. The length of the needles can range from less than .5 to a few millimeters in length.

Depending on your individual skin & preference, we will apply a topical anesthetic to your scalp about 10 minutes prior to treatment. This ensures you feel no pain at all. This procedure is feels scratchy and you do not need numbing cream.

The actual procedure time can vary based on the size of the treatment area, but it generally takes around 45 minutes. Once the scalp microneedling is completed, you can apply hair growth serums to ensure the best possible results after 3 days.

Side effects of microneedling on the head:
  • bruising
  • oozing from the wounds
  • redness
  • swelling
  • pain

The area may be red and inflamed for a few days following the procedure. According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), most side effects diminish within 5 days after your treatment.

Speak with your healthcare provider before considering this treatment if you:

  • have a history of acne or eczema
  • have a condition that slows healing, such as diabetes
  • are on blood thinners or other medications
